I am an independent analyst, consultant and researcher with over a decade of experience across the media tech, broadcast, streaming, data analytics, membership and marketing sectors.
I worked for a membership organization (IABM) for nine years, which allowed me to appreciate the critical value of relationships and community in business. Working in this context also forged my hybrid research approach and made me understand that I am a generalist who enjoys variety. I was fortunate enough to experience different types of work, including crafting industry reports and presentations, delivering keynotes to executive audiences, producing events and conferences, compiling bespoke research briefings, moderating working groups, creating machine learning models, consulting, and designing surveys.
I love telling stories with words and data but I am ultimately driven by searching for the why behind the complex questions encountered in my work. This may be why I was so attracted to the intricacies of the media tech industry. Media and tech are invading every part of our society, which has allowed me to keep discovering new things in my work. My lifelong passion for cinema has deepened my appreciation for the interplay between creativity and technology at the heart of this industry.
I am a graduate of Pisa, Durham, Swansea, and Glasgow Universities, holding a BSc in Economics and Management, an MSc in Business Economics, and an MSc in Data Analytics.
I always strive to blend my backgrounds, skills, and passions in my analyses to deliver nuanced research, clear insights, and compelling stories.
